Members will, as far as is practicable, make themselves and their customers aware of the environmental impact of the products and services they offer.
Members will conform to the requirements of the WEEE Directive as implemented in UK legislation. In particular, members will, wherever practicable, promote the re-use of equipment through upgrade or community or charitable donation. Whenever recycling is appropriate, Members will ensure products they handle are recycled in an environmentally sensitive manner, and will take all practicable steps to minimise environmental impact.
The TCA supports its members in such activities and will, from time to time, seek to develop or promote environmentally sound schemes and opportunities.
